Measure from the outside of one valve knob to the outside of the other and add 12.5 centimeters (5 inches). This will give you the maximum external width of your cabinet.

Measure from the floor to the top of the radiator and add 7.5 centimeters

(3 inches). This will give you the maximum external height of your cabinet.

Measure from the wall behind the radiator to the furthest protruding point outwards and add 6.5 centimeters (2.5 inches). This will give you the maximum depth of the top shelf of your cabinet.

Number of panels

Smaller cabinets will feature single air vents to both the top and bottom of the cabinet and single grille panel. Cabinets of 55 inches (140 cm) wide and above will be manufactured with a single grille panel, twin air vents at the top of the panel and triple feet.

How to measure for your radiator cabinet

These are the recommended minimum tolerances that you should add to your radiator, however you may wish to have a deeper top shelf for placing ornaments. We find that we manufacture more cabinets with a top shelf depth of 16.5 cm - 18 cm (6.5 - 7 inches) for this reason. You may wish to take into account items such as unsightly phone and plug sockets, which may be covered up by ordering a wider cabinet.

Please remember that each cabinet is constructed to your specification and if you are in any doubt about your measurements, please telephone us as we cannot be held responsible for errors in measuring.
